According to Newt Gingrich, “More people have been put on food stamps by Barack Obama than by any President in American history"

First, let's not forget that one the legacies left to Barack Obama by "W" was a horrible economy with a massive imbalance between the rich and the poor. Maybe if "W" had not created the economic nightmare that he did, there would not have been so many American who NEED food stamps. 

Second, I would have thought that Newt would have found feeding the hungry to be a positive "Christian" thing to do.
